About the role
You will join a small senior team that builds and runs production software for clients in media, finance and SaaS, and for our own products. Most features you build will touch the database, the API and the interface, and you will see them through to production and beyond.
We work in short iterations with working software every week. You will talk directly to clients and product owners, help shape scope, and be trusted to make technical decisions and explain them.
What you will do
- Design, build and ship features across the stack, from data model to user interface
- Write clear, tested, reviewable code and review your colleagues' work
- Own what you ship in production: deployments, monitoring, alerts and fixes
- Turn loosely defined requirements into a plan, and flag risks early
- Work with designers to build interfaces that are fast, accessible and match the design
- Improve the codebase you touch: performance, observability, developer experience
- Mentor mid-level engineers through pairing and code review
What you will bring
- 5 or more years building production web applications
- Strong TypeScript, React and Next.js experience
- Solid back-end experience with Node.js or Go, REST or GraphQL APIs, and PostgreSQL
- Experience deploying and operating services on a major cloud provider
- Good judgement about trade-offs, and the ability to explain them in writing
- Comfortable working in English with clients and teammates
Nice to have
None of these are required. If you have some, tell us about them.
- Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Rust for performance-critical services
- Building products with AI features such as assistants or search
- Payments, subscriptions or multi-tenant SaaS

How hiring works
01
Apply
Send a CV or a link to your work. A short note about what you want to do next helps.
02
Intro call
Thirty minutes with someone from the team you would join. Questions go both ways.
03
Technical session
A practical conversation about real work: code you have written, a system you have run, or a small take-home you choose.
04
Offer
A written offer with the details clear. We aim to finish the whole process within two weeks.
