A small engineering company that builds things meant to last.

TenBit Lab is the company behind flowKreator and TenBit CRM, and the engineering partner behind platforms you may already use. We build software for clients and products of our own, with the same people and the same bar for both.

Why “ten bit”

The mark is a one and a zero, the two states of a bit. Put it in front of the word and the name writes itself.

In video, bit depth is how many distinct values a channel can hold. Eight bits give you 256. Ten bits give you 1,024. On a good display the ten-bit picture looks the same until you reach a gradient, and then the eight-bit one falls apart into visible bands.

That is how we think about engineering. Most of the time a careful build and a careless one look alike. The difference shows up at the edges: under load, on the old device, in the release at 2 a.m. We work at the higher depth so those moments are uneventful.

What we hold ourselves to

Precision over volume

Ten bits instead of eight is the difference between a gradient that bands and one that does not. We would rather do fewer things to that standard.

Senior people, in the work

The engineers who scope your project are the ones who build it. No bait-and-switch between sales and delivery.

Honest estimates

We say what we think it will take, including the parts you might not want to hear, and we update you the moment that changes.

Built to be handed over

Clean repositories, documented decisions, reproducible environments. You should never feel locked in.

How a project runs

Five stages, in this order, every time. The names are boring on purpose: you should always know exactly where we are.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn the business, the users and the constraints before anyone opens an editor. You get a written scope, risks and a plan you can hold us to.

  2. 02

    Design

Architecture, interfaces and the delivery plan are worked out together, so what gets designed is what gets built.

  3. 03

    Build

Short iterations, working software every week, tests on every change. You see progress in the product, not in a status deck.

  4. 04

    Launch

Release engineering, store submissions, performance checks and a runbook. Launch day is a checklist, not an event.

  5. 05

    Operate

Monitoring, support and continued development. Most of our clients stay with us long after the first release.

We are hiring people who care about this.

Engineers, designers and QA specialists who want to own problems end to end, in a company small enough that your work is visible.
