About the role

You will work on native apps used by real audiences, often with video at their core. That means caring about playback quality, smooth scrolling on older devices, accessibility and a clean release every time.

You will own features from design review to App Store release, working closely with designers, back-end engineers and QA.

What you will do

  • Build features for iOS and tvOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI, with UIKit where it is the better tool
  • Integrate video playback with AVFoundation and AVKit, including DRM-protected streams
  • Implement subscriptions and in-app purchases with StoreKit
  • Keep performance, crash-free rate and accessibility at the standard we promise clients
  • Write unit and UI tests, and work with QA on device testing before each release
  • Manage App Store submissions, TestFlight builds and release notes

What you will bring

  • 3 or more years building and shipping iOS apps
  • Strong Swift and SwiftUI, and working knowledge of UIKit
  • Experience with networking, local storage and app architecture patterns
  • At least one app you can show us in the App Store
  • Attention to detail in interaction and visual design

Nice to have

None of these are required. If you have some, tell us about them.

  • tvOS experience and remote-first focus navigation
  • AVFoundation, HLS and FairPlay DRM
  • Kotlin or Android experience
  • Fastlane and CI for mobile
